At this time we do not ship internationally, only in the US.
Are Kigh's Hemp-Derived CBD Products Legal in All 50 States?
Yes. Kigh CBD legally ships its proprietary hemp-derived CBD products to all 50 States. The United States Farm Bill of 2014 classified industrial hemp as containing less than 0.3% THC. Because our products contain less than 0.3% THC (full-spectrum), we are allowed by U.S. federal law to ship to all states.
How to get CBD
Do I Need a Doctors Prescription or Medical Marijuana Card to Purchase or Use Kigh's CBD Products?
No. Kigh CBD products are classified as industrial hemp food products and/or skin care products and are therefore available legally to everyone.
Under the new 2018 Farm Bill, Congress permits the growth and cultivation of industrial hemp under state sponsored departments of agriculture.
Drug Testing
Will Kigh's Hemp-Derived Products Make Me Fail a Drug Test?
As with all hemp products, using our Full Spectrum products creates the chance that a positive test for THC could be triggered despite there only being trace amounts present in the oil. We recommend that you consult with your employer or doctor before taking our Full Spectrum products if a positive test for THC is a concern.
Does Kigh Have any CBD Products that are THC Free?
Kigh now has a number of CBD products that are all THC free. Those products are our newest CBD gummies and also our CBD capsules, both CBD Sleep Capsules and our CBD Multivitamins
CBD
What are Cannabinoids?
Cannabinoids are the primary chemical compounds produced by the cannabis plant and have been patented by the US Department of Health and Human Services as “antioxidants and neuroprotectants.” While there are dozens of identified cannabinoids, the cannabis plants we source our CBD from have naturally high levels of Cannabidiol (CBD) while having only trace amounts of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Kigh CBD products contain less than 0.3% THC (Full Spectrum).
Are Kigh's Hemp-Derived Products Rich in Phytocannabinoids?
Yes. Phytocannabinoids are the dozens of different cannabinoids naturally found in the hemp plant. Kigh's hemp genetics have a naturally high concentration of the phytocannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD) while also containing a full spectrum of all other phytocannabinoids, which makes our products unique in this regard.
What is the Entourage Effect as it Relates to Hemp-Derived CBD?
The “entourage effect” is the combination of all cannabinoids working together in the body vs a single isolated cannabinoid.
Product Quality
Are Kigh's Hemp-Derived CBD Products Pure and Natural?
Yes. The purity of Kigh CBD products are derived from the fact that all of our products are tested by independent third parties. This ensures that the premium quality of our raw ingredients makes it through to our final products. Being natural starts with the high levels of CBD naturally found in our proprietary hemp cultivars.
Are Kigh's Hemp-Derived Products Tested by 3rd Party Labs for Safety and Quality?
Yes. While Kigh CBD products are produced in an FDA registered food-grade facility, the extra step is taken to ensure safety and quality by having all products independently tested by a third party
Terpenes
What are Terpenes?
Terpenes (and terpenoids) are aromatic organic compounds found in many plants and even some insects. Plants developed terpenes to ward off herbivores that might eat them and to attract helpful predators and pollinators. Cannabis (marijuana) has naturally high levels of terpenes.
Do Terpenes Have an Effect on the Body?
A groundbreaking 2011 paper by neurologist and researcher Ethan Russo described the way cannabinoids and terpenes work together to boost and modulate the effects of one another in the body's endocannabinoid system (ECS). For a long time THC was considered the only chemical of psychoactive importance in cannabis. Russo and team helped reveal how other cannabinoids (like CBD) and terpenes can either increase or decrease the effects of THC and other chemicals in the body that interact with the ECS.
Myrcene, for instance, potentiates (increases) the effects of THC, induces sedation (sleepiness) and provides anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer and analgesic (anti-pain) effects. Limonene, on the other hand, is an energizing anti-depressant.
